Motor1 has shared images of the new generation of the Volkswagen Tiguan. The car came out for its street tests wearing some gen.2 bodywork as disguise, but the photographer wasn’t fooled.
Compared to the old Tiguan Allspace (see video), the new one gets a completely redesigned front end with new headlights, radiator grille and a bumper with a massive air intake. Note also how sharply inclined the c-pillars are to lend the roof a sportier, curved appearance.
The main bit of novelty inside is the large infotainment screen towering above the dash panel. An ID.4-style digital instrument panel is also present.
Volkswagen says nothing about the powertrain options, but rumors claim the model will come in a full spectrum of flavors, from ICE to hybrid and even all-electric.
The sales start remains penciled in for 2024 or close to that year.
