Premium Chinese automaker Voyah has unveiled its biggest and most deluxe vehicle so far. Provisionally called the Taishan (name subject to change), it is slated for launch in Q4 2025 and become Voyah’s newest flagship.
All details remain to be announced, but the teaser pics speak for themselves. One of them shows a camouflaged Taishan standing next to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, emphasizing its sheer size. The media in China speculate that it’s at least 5.3 meters (17.4 feet) long with a wheelbase spanning 3.1 meters (10.2 feet) or so. Other images do away with the camo, allowing a closer look at the exterior.
From the technological standpoint, buyers can look forward to 800V electric internals and a high-end ADAS package from Huawei. Rumor has it that the Taishan will be a Level 3 semi-autonomous vehicle, allowing the driver to take the hands off the steering wheel for several moments.
It is speculated that Voyah’s new SUV will be offered in hybrid and BEV flavors, the latter packing around 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW) and 700 km (435 miles) of range. The Rolls-Royce comparison suggests that it will be a luxury crossover, but all details remain secret.
