The five-year anniversary edition of the all-electric Zeekr 001 liftback will be available for ordering in China later this week. The company advertises its extremely sophisticated KW suspension, exclusive trim and rich equipment, but doesn’t reveal any pricing details. A regular Zeekr 001 will set you back 330,000 CNY ($47,950) if loaded to the max.
Compared to that one, the 5th Anniversary Edition looks sportier thanks to an added FR-Line body kit made from carbon fiber. It also rides on 22-inch forged wheels finished in black with Pirelli P Zero tires. The interior flaunts red Alcantara with matching accents all around. Dimmable panoramic roof, advanced multi-channel audio, extra-comfortable seats and a full ADAS package are all included.
A couple of e-motors send respectable 925 PS (912 hp / 680 kW) to the wheels while making 913 Nm (673 lb-ft) of torque. The EV sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under three seconds and covers 680 km (422 miles) on a single battery charge – CLTC-rated, that is.
Zeekr particularly praises the anniversary edition’s suspension settings. The company claims its engineering department had spent three long years perfecting the ride quality with KW Suspensions. As a result, the shocks support 12-step adjustment for compression, 16-step adjustment for recoil, and let you choose the ground clearance in a 35mm (1.4”) range. Six-piston Brembo calipers are also provided for even more confidence on the road.
