Zenvo Automotive plans to release an ‘affordable’ supercar priced at ‘just’ $2M

Several days ago, Danish automaker Zenvo Automotive revealed an extreme hypercar named Aurora (in the gallery and video below). Apparently, the company is also working on a smaller and more affordable version of that car.

Christian Brandt, Zenvo’s Head of Design, said as much in his recent interview with Motor1. He emphasized that the company intended to continue equipping its cars with internal combustion engines because its customer base had zero interest in EVs.

He also pointed out that the Aurora was built on a special platform that had ben originally designed for multiple projects. The new 6.6-liter V12 powering it was also designed to be modular, meaning the company could reconfigure it easily and produce a smaller, simpler engine based on it – with eight or even six cylinders, if need be.

Asked about the price of the ‘affordable’ Aurora sibling, Brandt said it might go on sale priced ‘as low as’ U.S. $1,800,000.
