Mercedes-Benz V-Class gets all kinds of tuned in Germany

German aftermarket shop VÄTH has come up with a range of options and accessories for the popular Mercedes-Benz V-Class minivan, improving upon its looks, strengths and ease of use.

The V300d demo car shown here ended up with a 30mm (1.2-inch) drop in ride height, a set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 255/40 tires, and more convenient running boards. For those looking for a sportier soundtrack in their minivan (are there any such people?), the company has a sports exhaust system listed on its website. The system is manufactured from stainless steel with polished tailpipes – a shame VÄTH hasn’t published a video to let us hear it in action.

Anyway, the list ends with a tune for the stock diesel engine that should raise its output to 273 PS (268 hp / 200 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque.

The prices are as follows: the springs cost €540, the wheels plus tires go for €2,980, the running boards will set you back €525, the exhaust comes in at €1,890, and the tune costs €850. Another €130 lets the tuner tweak the pedals for a faster throttle response.
