Toyota’s pickup becomes a dump truck in Southeastern Asia
Thailand-based auto shop RRS has devised a program to turn the latest generation of the Toyota Hilux into a dump truck rated for five metric tons (~11,000 lbs) of cargo. That’s impressive and just a tad suspicious for a vehicle that receives suspension and axle reinforcements, but no new frame or engine.
