The renowned British automaker will be assembling some of its new cars at the former Saab factory complex in Trollhättan, Sweden.
The industrial site is currently owned by T-Engineering, a company founded by ex-Saab employees 14 years ago. We are told that AC Cars has already signed a contract with that company letting it schedule the production of its own cars at the T-Engineering factory.
The main assembly line in the UK will continue operation as normal. With the next-generation AC Cobra coming up and the vintage Ace model making a comeback, AC Cars needs to ramp up the volumes quickly – that’s why it secured another production line.
