Alpine announces 7 automotive novelties due out before 2030

Alpine has revealed its plans going forward and shared a teaser pic previewing all the cars it plans to release in the coming years. The French automaker hopes to expand its portfolio to seven models before the end of the decade and go all-electric in 2026.

The company will also be taking part in the next year’s endurance racing season. Actor Ryan Reynolds is set to join Alpine’s list of F1 sponsors soon, too.

The first production car to reach the market will be the A290, a hot hatch that the company introduced a while ago as a concept (you will find it in the gallery and the video below). It will be based on the Renault 5 EV chassis and tech and will reach the market in 2024. A C-class crossover SUV will join the family in the following year, and a successor model to the iconic A110 will come out in 2026 in coupe and roadster flavors.

Later on, the lineup will be complemented by a four-door coupe called A310 and a couple of rather large D- and E-class vehicles. Both sound like SUVs.

In 2027, Alpine plans to start an expansion to new markets, including the United States and China. If the company keeps successfully expanding its product range as planned, it should be able to exceed €8 billion in annual profit by the end of the decade.

Last but not least, the Alpine racing team will enter the endurance racing season of 2024. The Alpine F1 team in particular has already received $200 million in investments from a U.S. investors’ consortium. The latter structure includes Maximum Effort Investments, a business co-founded by Ryan Reynolds. In return, Alpine handed over 24% of its stock to the sponsors.
