There are many reasons to like the Audi RS3, and the newly introduced Performance Edition with a five-cylinder engine boosted to 411 PS (405 hp / 302 kW) adds another reason to the list. Only 300 units will be made for Europe, so Audi fans from the USA are out of luck here.
The power bump became possible thanks to a tweaked exhaust system and a different turbocharger. The power is still transmitted via an Stronic seven-speed DCT, and the sprint time from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is 3.8 seconds. The top speed now lies as high up as 300 km/h (186 mph).
By default, all RS3 Performance Edition units come equipped with adaptive suspension, ceramic brakes and exclusive 19-inch wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. The rear diffuser and the Audi logo are blacked out in this trim spec.
Interior highlights include standard bucket seats trimmed Dinamica microfiber and Nappa leather. The dashboard flaunts a plaque with the unique serial number of the car on it, located on an imitation carbon base.
