Bentley has invited Gymkhana star driver Travis Pastrana to have a wild ride in the company’s newest Supersports coupe. It’s not much of an ad considering that all 500 production units were sold via preorders long ago, but impressive nonetheless.
In the video, Pastrana passes by historical Bentleys from the early 20th century, says hello to the company’s hill climb racers and encounters the final Brooklands coupe produced. He also drives by a mysterious draped-over Bentley that we believe to be the company’s previously announced first all-electric vehicle.
In case you need a reminder, the Supersports shares the chassis with a Bentley Continental GT, but comes with numerous weight reductions and a drive on the rear wheels instead of all four. It pumps out 666 PS (657 hp / 490 kW) instead of the hybrid version’s 782 PS (771 hp / 575 kW), but more than makes up for it with superior weight and handling, the company boasts.
