Diesel-powered BMW X7 channels its inner track weapon with Larte

German tuner Larte Design has churned out a personalization program for the outgoing first generation of the BMW X7. Dressed out in carbon fiber, the SUV looks like a seriously sporty machine until you notice the “xDrive 40d” badge on the tailgate.

The body kit comprises a front splitter, lower bumper trims, side skirts and a rear diffuser. The look seems to be complemented with custom exhaust finishers and five-Y-spoke forged wheels. Larte also mentions an all-carbon hood cover for some reason, but the hood seen in the gallery above looks stock to us.

As for the engine, it’s still the old reliable 3.0-liter inline-six burning diesel fuel for 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) and up to 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. For all its aero glory, the SUV cannot reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in under six seconds.

All pricing is private as usual. A diesel X7 can be purchased in Germany starting from €115,850.
