Cadillac Escalade-V rivals supercars with some Texan elbow grease applied

Texas-based Hennessey Performance took delivery of a bulky Cadillac Escalade-V and managed to ramp up its output to an impressive 1,020 PS (1,005 hp / 750 kW). Check out the video to get a taste of what it is like.

Straight form the factory, the Escalade-V is by no means an underpowered luxury SUV. Its supercharged V8 churns out 692 PS (682 hp / 509 kW) and 885 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque without breaking a sweat. Going from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of 4.4 seconds.

Hennessey proposes replacing the pistons and the connecting rods, valves with springs, cylinder heads and a whole lot of other internals to boost the output to the aforementioned thousand horses and 1,196 Nm (882 lb-ft) of torque. The tuned ride comes with a certificate listing all dyno and road measurements as proof.

The package is called H1000 and should be already available for the 2026 Cadillac Escalade-V. It seemingly doesn’t include any body kit parts, making do with a handful of Hennessey logos and serial number plaques. The pricing is also request-only, but this is unlikely to deter those willing to fork over $168,000+ for the base SUV.
