At an air show a couple of months ago, renowned Japanese customizer Liberty Walk unveiled a rather bold jet-inspired R35 Nissan GT-R (see video). We assumed it was a JDM affair and not something the rest of the world would have access to, but it has now put very similar-looking aero parts on a C8 Corvette – and the two look dashing next to each other.
Starting with the ‘Vette, it sports a remodeled front bumper that spans much wider to accommodate huge bolt-on fender flares. It also rocks a low-slung front apron with a splitter blade and matching side skirts. There are side canards around the bumper, a diffuser at the rear end, and a rear wing so conspicuous we barely have to mention it.
In turn, the Godzilla boasts a vented hood and an even bigger-looking wing. Both sit about as low as they can get thanks to Liberty Walk’s signature air-ride suspension and wear Advan Sport tires atop aftermarket forged wheels.
The announcement on the tuner’s social pages says LW will be attending America Fest in Okinawa, Japan in mid-April next year. It sounds like both cars will be present there live for all visitors to check out.
