Next-gen Citroen C4 may be inspired by Oli Concept, sources say

The media in France are reporting that Citroen wants to style its next C4 generation after the Oli show car revealed two years ago (see the gallery and the video here).

The boxy concept has already provided the basis for the new C3 and C3 Aircross, as well as partly inspired the facelifted C4 and C4 X. The automaker’s C3 lineup runs on an overhauled CMP platform known as Smart Car, and it looks like the new C4 will also transition to the Smart Car architecture.

According to the sources in France, the premiere will take place in 2025 and the sales will begin a year after that. All production will be localized in Slovakia.
