Donkervoort, a Netherlands-based designer of lightweight sports cars, has not produced anything new since 2013, but the hiatus will end on December 10, 2022.
A teaser vid accompanying the announcement reveals the rear end of what looks like an all-new sports car with its own, distinct design. The video calls it ‘F22’, a possible reference to the F-22 Raptor jet fighter.
The company claims the newcomer will be larger, faster and more powerful than the D8 GTO. It will incorporate certain hypercar technology and emphasize driving enjoyment and individual approach. At the same time, the design team says it paid more attention to the ergonomics of the cabin than ever before, which now actually feels spacious.
