One-off Koenig-tuned Ferrari 360 Modena sells for cheap

Bring a Trailer has just found a new owner for a 27-year-old Ferrari 360 Modena that had received aftermarket attention from multiple companies, including one as prominent as Koenig Specials. Extensive modifications and high mileage resulted in the bidding stopping at a relatively low €150,000.

The coupe was made in 1999 and first modified in 2003. Koenig upgraded its 3.6-liter V6 with a twin-turbo setup, which necessitated a redesign of the whole engine bay and the addition of an air scoop to the roof. The listing never mentioned the output, but we’d imagine it being substantially higher than the stock 406 PS (400 hp / 299 kW).

Three years later, the owner opted for new carbon-ceramic brakes and an aerodynamic package complete with a towering rear wing. The car then proceeded to stay more or less untouched until 2024, when it was resprayed in purple and retrimmed in violet Alcantara. Carbon-backed Sparco seats and yellow accents rounded off the refurbishment effort.

Come to think of it, this may be why it went for the rough equivalent of U.S. $176,650. An Italian supercar with 48,000 kilometers (30,000 miles) under its belt is a risky investment.
