Knine Racing, from Ireland, has treated mini-pickup enthusiasts to this quad bike conversion called ‘Mini Raptor’. Let us see what is good about the build and what is not so good.
The donor vehicle is a Can-Am Maverick X3, a popular side-by-side quad bike powered by a 197-hp (147-kW) engine. It gets a full glass dome, a cabin for two, comfortable bucket seats, and even a climate control! Knine Racing takes the pain to inform us that the latter option subtracts 3 horsepower from the original power rating, leaving only 194 hp (145 kW). Seriously, though, we could live with that minor disappointment.
The big disappointment is the price, which exceeds €70,000 with all the boxes ticked.
