Check out a street-legal Ford Ranger riding on 37-inch tires

The tuners over at delta4x4 have devised a way to turn a normal Ford Ranger pickup into a badass-looking off-roader while keeping it road-legal in Germany where the laws are particularly strict. Preorders are already running, and you will find the prices below.

Working with the Ranger, delta4x4 chose to outfit it with a set of Continental CrossContact Extreme E tires. This high-profile rubber was developed specifically for electric vehicle racing events, offering “superb traction, stable performance and durable materials,” all in one convenient package. Per the tuner, it is a great fit for the ICE Ranger, too. A full wheel set like this reportedly costs €5,200, although you may want to double-check with Delta if interested.

As is often the case, just replacing the tires on your truck and calling it a day seldom works when the new set is so drastically different from the old one. For a complete experience, the company suggests installing Reiger-branded suspension components and a dedicated lift kit so that the wheels move freely in their arches. The Reiger kit comes in at €4,500 in Germany and adds 50 mm (~2 inches) of ride height. The lift kit is pricier at €5,000, but adds a cool 100 mm (~4 inches). You’ll also need 60mm (2.4-inch) widened fenders priced at €2,500 and a tachometer calibration to account for the new wheel diameter (€700).
