Geely is already taking orders for the refreshed Boyue a.k.a. Cityray in China. The SUV sports a more traditional front fascia and a revised interior, and starts from 91,900 Yuan.
Unlike its predecessor, the 2026 Cityray makes no attempt to look futuristic, instead going for a safer and less controversial appearance inspired by higher-end Geely models. It has a new front bumper, a traditional radiator grille with vertical bars and normal-looking headlights with a LED strip connecting them along the hood rim. Buyers are choosing from new wheel options sized up to 19” and new exterior finishes.
Likewise, the interior looks less experimental and more laconic now. The 14.6-inch infotainment display is installed in a standalone fashion and is oriented horizontally. The system itself runs on the latest version of Flyme Auto OS. The transmission selector still sits on the tunnel, but looks different from before. Geely also mentions an extended list of optional equipment and ADAS features.
On its domestic market of China, the Boyue/Cityray comes equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine making 181 PS (179 hp / 133 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission lets the SUV accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 7.9 seconds.
