Hyundai has facelifted its Sonata saloon in the USA, landing the car with the same exterior improvements as its Korean counterpart this spring, but adding new powertrain options.
Like the South Korean Sonata, the U.S. version looks drastically new with a more aggressive and at the same time more technologically advanced exterior. The same applies to the cabin as well, which now offers a pair of 12.30-inch displays, a new steering wheel with a gear selector mounted on it, and a redesigned HVAC control panel.
In the powertrain department, there is a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, its turbocharged version, and a 2.0-liter hybrid system. The specifics are scarce at the moment, but it is official that the 2.5-liter N/A four-pot gets an all-wheel-drive option.
