Jeep Avenger EV arrives laden with Easter Eggs

Automaker Jeep has been known for playing around with adding hidden details to its cars, and the all-electric Avenger for Europe is no exception, according to Periodismo Del Motor.

In particular, the crossover SUV is loaded with references to its off-road-capable predecessor, Willys. There are Willys grille shapes built into the front bumper and the wheels, as well as into the new front grille itself. A closer look at it also reveals an image of a compass surrounded by seemingly random numbers. In reality, though, the numbers represent the geographical coordinates of the town where the Avenger model was designed.

One of the corners of the windshield conceals the image of a child looking into a telescope. By tracing the direction of the telescope into the opposite corner of the glass, you can see stars – an overt nod to the adventure-friendly nature of the SUV.

As of right now, customers in Europe can only pre-order their Avenger as a battery EV with a single e-motor driving the wheels and 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW). A hybrid modification is underway to the lineup, too, but there is no availability date.
