2020 Kia Cadenza facelift premieres with new visuals and tech

The current generation of Kia Cadenza has been around for two years, so a mid-life refresh was due – let us focus on just the highlights.

Outside, these include redesigned bumpers, new LED headlights and Z-shaped DRLs, reworked taillights, and larger radiator grille. New 18-inch wheels will also tell you it’s a facelift version, and paying extra even buys you a larger 19-inch set.

Crack open the door to see a redone dash panel with a 4.2-inch display, the infotainment system has also grown in size from its 8 inches to 12.3, and the air blowers are also new and located lower than before.

Tech-wise, the refreshed Cadenza boasts an extended assortment of driver aids, such as cruise control, automatic high beam, pedestrian detection, emergency braking, lane control, blind zone monitor, etc.

Regardless of your other choices, the entire range ships with only one 3.3-liter V6 engine good for 290 hp (216 kW) and 343 Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque, linked to an eight-speed auto transmission.

Sales in the USA start later this year, with no further specifics given.
