Tedson Motors, from Croatia, is offering a particularly compelling conversion of the classic Lamborghini Gallardo. Once complete, it endows the Italian supercar with a bolder appearance, more power and less weight.
Starting on the outside, there are new side sill extensions, door trims, air intakes and vents, and an all-new rear end. The latter includes a new engine deck lid, a spoiler and LED brake lights. The body kit completely transforms the Gallardo – which is arguably rather tame by the marque’s standards – lending it a sleeker and more modern look. Impressively, it also doesn’t go over the top or clash with the base design.
The old 5.0-liter V10 retains its natural aspiration, but gets high-end internals that bump its output up by 80 PS (80 hp / 60 kW) for a new total of 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). Many Lambo enthusiasts will appreciate that the V10 now also revs up to 10,000 RPM and beyond. Needless to say, the company had to reinforce the e-Gear six-speed automated manual box to handle the extra torque.
Last but not least, the rebuilt car weighs whopping 200 kilos (440 pounds) less than the original – quite impressive considering how sleek these rides are straight from the factory.
You can already order your Tedson ETNA if you happen to have a spare $787,000 lying around, plus a spare Gallardo as that’s not included in the price. The tuner expects to build no more than 77 units.
