Geely-owned car brand Lynk & Co has unveiled its latest EV, the Z10. The large sedan previously known as the Zero will go on sale from an estimated 200,000 Yuan.
The EV is sized 5,028 x 1,966 x 1,468 mm (196.4 x 76.8 x 57.4 inches) with a wheelbase spanning 3,005 mm (117.4 inches). Its main competitors on the domestic market are the Xiaomi SU7 and the Zeekr 001, which is based on the same SEA platform.
Lynk & Co proudly points out that the load-bearing frame of the Z10 consists of 85% high-tensile steels and aluminum, while the battery housing can withstand impact loads reaching 65 metric tons. Once fully charged, the sedan can cover more than 800 km (500 miles) before the battery dries up. 15 minutes of staying plugged into a sufficiently powerful charging point will replenish enough power for 573 km (356 miles) of driving.
Trim-wise, buyers can look forward to a modern infotainment system running the Flyme Auto OS by Meizu, Snapdragon 8295 multimedia chipset, a 15.4-inch middle display, and ventilated/massaged rear seats. An extensive list of smart driving aids is also included.
