Maserati continues getting us acquainted with the next-gen GranTurismo little by little. After previewing its fully electric variant (see video), the company has now lifted the veil over the gas-powered version.
Compared to its predecessor, the new sports car has different headlights and taillights, new door handles, air intakes and radiator grille. Despite the body being completely new, the side view is basically the same.
We have yet to see the interior of the new GranTurismo, but it is already official that the car will hit the market in two trim variants named Modena and Trofeo. Both will utilize the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with so far undisclosed characteristics. The MC20 uses the same block to hit the wheels with 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque.
The all-electric GranTurismo Folgore will occupy the position at the very top of the lineup with triple electric motors and rumored 1,200 PS (1,184 hp / 883 kW).
