Amalgam Collection, a company famous for making painstakingly detailed reproductions of iconic cars, has started accepting orders for a new replica of the McLaren P1. Owning a striking semblance of one of world’s most renowned hypercars costs U.S. $17,780.
Only 375 models will be made in a 1:8 scale. McLaren provided the company with the original blueprints and schematics and even made sure to examine the prototype from the design and engineering points of view.
The toy car comes finished in the recognizable Volcano Yellow color, but you can always specify a custom finish.
Each model is 60 cm (24 inches) long and assembled manually. The shipment package includes acrylic glass and a carbon-fiber display stand.
