A restored, Lorinser-tuned Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC cropped up on sale in the UK not long ago, but the £10,000 best offer fell short of the reserve. Would you, perhaps, be interested in acquiring it?
The listing states that the car was registered in 1985 and has stood largely unused since 2010. It was then refurbished with minimal paint correction, new 16-inch wheels and lower spoilers at both ends. Refreshed chrome accents and Riken Road Performance tires rounded off the exterior changes.

Powering the restored ride is its stock eight-cylinder engine rated at 231 PS (228 hp / 170 kW). While not much by modern standards, it can still take the 500 SEC to a respectable maximum acceleration of 225 km/h (140 miles per hour).
