Peugeot 3008 facelift images leak ahead of premiere

Peugeot is preparing a design overhaul of its 3008 SUV. No major technical changes are planned, but the leaked sketches evidence that the cabin and body are undergoing a serious makeover.

Among other things, the SUV gains an all-new front that looks more in line with the current Peugeot design philosophy. This includes a larger radiator grille and vertical, fang-shaped LED daytime running lights. The taillights remain largely unchanged, however.

Inside, a considerably sized rectangular multimedia screen is the main novelty, while the rest of the cabin stays stock.

Rumor has it that the Peugeot 3008 will hit the market in two hybrid modifications: 222 hp (164 kW) and 296 hp (220 kW).

The facelift should go live within the next six months.
