The world’s one and only Peugeot endurance racer MPV is on sale in France right now

The Peugeot 806 Procar, a one-off racing minivan built by Kronos Racing for motorsports back in 1995, will be sold at an auction ending tomorrow. The expected target is €35,000–€50,000.

The vehicle was designed specifically for the Spa 24 Hours endurance race in Belgium. The stock engine made room for a 2.0-liter turbo-four mill rated at 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW), with the cylinder block taken from the 306 Maxi rally racer. The undercarriage was borrowed from the 405 Mi16 Supertouring. A special livery and a roll cage rounded off the main list of mods.

During the qualification round, the Peugeot 806 Procar ended up 12th on the start grid, but never succeeded at the race proper due to mechanical breakdowns, dropping out some ten hours in.

The MPV had been kept in the racing team’s collection until its founder passed away. It went on sale in France yesterday lacking the engine and the gearbox. As we said, the bidding will end tomorrow.
