Ruf’s rarest vehicle ever can be yours for $180k+

A 41-year-old and completely unique Porsche 911 built by Ruf Automobile is being auctioned off on PCar Market right now. Having been restored around a year ago, it currently sits at U.S. $171,985 with more than a day left on the clock.

The original owner of the sports car commissioned a full rebuild according to the tuner’s BTR III standard back in 1990. It was retrofitted with a 3.4-liter flat-six engine turbocharged to 435 PS (429 hp / 320 kW), mated to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. While they were it, Ruf replaced the stock aero kit with parts sourced from the automaker’s Turbo catalog of the same era.

The restoration took place in 2024 and was carried out by SV Automotive Engineering. The coupe ended up with upgraded suspension and brakes, new lines, gaskets and liquids all around, and a rebuilt turbo setup. The company claims it managed to preserve the car’s exact specifications as per the technical documentation.

Despite having a touch over 46,000 kilometers (28,500 miles) on the clock, the 911 is said to be in perfect condition with less than 500 km (310 mi) put on it post-restoration.
