Manthey-Racing unveils the hardcore Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 MR

Manthey-Racing, a German team headed by retired racing driver Olaf Manthey, has unleashed their version of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 (gen. 982). The car is said to perform way better on track than its stock counterpart, even though the engine makes do without mods.

The kit includes flexibly adjustable racing suspension composed of aluminum components, BBS Wheels sized 20 inches across that drop the unsprung weight by 11.3 kg (24.9 lbs), and performance brakes with steel braiding for efficiency.

Air intakes receive protective grilles, the body makes use of a plethora of aerodynamic components including Gurney flaps, and the cabin benefits from a fresh leather/Alcantara makeover in Pepita style.

The track-ready Cayman still holds onto its 4.0-liter flat-six engine rated at 420 PS (414 hp / 309 kW). Should you want it boosted further, other tuners will be glad to help.

Pre-orders are already running, but the prices are disclosed to interested (and solvent) clients.
