The Octavia liftback and wagon underwent a facelift a year ago, but while Skoda promised us an all-wheel-drive powertrain back then, it hadn’t delivered one until now.
The new Octavia AWD lineup utilizes a 2.0-liter TSI engine and a seven-speed DSG transmission to drive all four wheels with 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW). It uses a multi-plate clutch at the rear axle to do so. Regardless of your selected body style, it sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.6–6.7 seconds.
No other engine or transmission options have been announced for the AWD version. Prices in Germany start from €39,760.
