SsangYong is still far from financial top shape, but the launch of an originally designed Torres SUV may bring the South Korean company some profit at last.
In a latest bunch of teaser pics, you can see the front end with a radiator grille sporting Jeep-style vertical bars. Large recesses conceal anti-fog lights, with slim headlights located above them. From behind, the Torres looks just like the Korando.
It is the cabin where things get interesting, though. Equipment inside includes a digital dashboard, an infotainment system and a touch-enabled HVAC display, summing up to three displays on the main panel.
SsangYong is in no haste to tell us the technical specifications of the Torres, but local media believe it could come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque.
