Subaru BRZ says farewell with the Final Edition

The Subaru BRZ Coupe, which the Japanese car marque co-designed with Toyota, will fade into history soon, but not before the Final Edition comes out.

The special batch boasts 17-inch wheels, red brake calipers, Sachs shock absorbers, and a couple new paint choices. The Crystal Black Silica paint comes free of charge, while the Blue Pearl will set you back an extra €100.

The cabin uses a combination of blue and black leather and Alcantara, and blue stitching can be found on the doors, the steering wheel, and the gear stick. Badges testifying to the exclusivity of the series round off the image.

The tech stays the same as before, which in this case means a two-liter engine rated at just below 200 hp (150 kW). Transmission choices include manual and automatic (+€1,700).

The Subaru BRZ Final Edition will be limited to 100 units available only in Germany starting from €40,270.

The fate of the next generation remains open. Subaru mentions that it is working with Toyota again and considers giving the successor to the BRZ line its newest 2.5-liter engine.
