Japanese tuner comes up with two distinct tuning kits for the Suzuki Jimny

Middle-ground suspension springs on an off-road vehicle always feel like a compromise – some people tend to drive on asphalt more often than they do off the grid, while the others do the exact opposite. Osaka-based tuning shop ESB offers definitive styling solutions for those Suzuki Jimny owners who know what they want.

One of the kits is called LST and drops the ride height by 40–90 mm (1.6–3.5 inches), improving aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. It comes bundled with sportier-looking bumpers visually integrated with their respective arches, side skirts and custom wheels shod in urban slicks.

The other kit is dubbed LST-Up and does the opposite, lifting the suspension by a further 76 mm (3 inches). The arches get cut out and the fenders flared to enable confident traversal of exposed terrain. There are no side skirts in this package, but there are skid plates all around and new bumpers made compact for improved approach and departure angles. Maxis tires lend themselves well for asphalt and off-road, but are optimal for the latter.

In U.S. dollar terms, the lowering kit costs as little as $4,470, while the off-road kit comes in at $2,940.
