Toyota will be launching sales of the next-generation Alphard MPV in Japan as early as this spring, AutoHome reports citing leaked dealer documents. There are also a few new images of the updated model, likely made due to a presentation event.
The images let you have a good look at the shoulder line of the minivan, its taillight graphics, large multimedia display, digital dashboard and new steering wheel. All the climate controls are accessible via the touchscreen only, but at least Toyota hasn’t ditched hardware buttons completely yet.
It looks like the depicted MPV is the top trim level: note the captain’s seats and the panoramic roof.
Rumor has it that the Alphard for Japan will ship with an electrified 2.5-liter engine under the hood.
