2025 Toyota bZ bows in the USA

The refreshed Toyota bZ4X debuted in Europe a couple of months ago. It has now arrived in North America under a simplified name – bZ.

The new bZ benefits from a larger 74.4-kWh battery pack, a sizable upgrade from the previously used 63.4-kWh and 65.5-kWh packs. Having said that, you can still save some money if you go for the entry-level version, which still features a 57.7-kWh battery. Toyota says ranges have been improved across the entire lineup, with the RWD Long Range spec now capable of 505 km (314 miles) per charge.

Another major improvement took place in the motor department. The RWD version now commands 224 PS (221 hp / 165 kW), and the AWD top spec has 343 PS (338 hp / 252 kW) at its disposal.
