Toyota introduces bZ Woodland EV

The all-electric bZ Woodland SUV for the United States is basically a rebadged Subaru Trailseeker. It will go on sale in early 2026 and will also be available in Europe and Japan, but under a different name: bZ4X Touring.

The vehicle is 4,830 mm (188.7 inches) long, 1,860 mm (72.7 inches) wide and 1,620 mm (63.3 inches) tall. It has a wheelbase spanning 2,850 mm (111.3 inches) and a ground clearance of 210 mm (8.2 inches).

In the USA, the bZ Woodland will ship exclusively with a dual-motor powertrain rated at 380 PS (375 hp / 279 kW). A 74.7-kWh battery pack will give it up to 418 km (260 miles) of EPA range. Charging from 10 to 80 percent will take half an hour or so, Toyota says. With a NACS-standard charging port, the EV will be taking full advantage of Tesla’s Supercharger network.

Customers in the U.S. will be confined to just one trim level. It includes an infotainment system with a 14-inch display and six speakers, heated seats, a wireless phone charger, immersive ambient lighting, and a number of ADAS. An optional “Premium” package adds nine JBL speakers, a panoramic roof, and ventilated/power-adjustable front seats.
