Toyota C-HR+ coming to the States minus the “plus”
The Toyota C-HR+ electric SUV recently introduced in Europe will go on sale in the United States next year.
It will be called simply the C-HR, without the plus sign, like the gas-powered model that retired in North America a few years ago.
The new EV will be exclusively available with two e-motors sending a total of 343 PS (338 hp / 252 kW) to all four wheels and a large 74.7-kWh battery pack. This will allow it to cover 467 km (290 miles) per charge, EPA-rated.
Customers in Europe can order their C-HR+ with just one motor and two driven wheels, as well as a smaller battery.
