Delta4x4 outfits VW T6 & T6.1 for extreme camping

Ever dreamt of abandoning civilization for a quiet life in a camping tent somewhere far, far from trodden paths? Then take a look at these capable campervan candidates based off the Volkswagen T6 and T6.1 California – these will take you where few others will.

Renowned tuner delta4×4 handled the conversions shown here. One of the main mods comes in the form of a Seikel-branded suspension lift kit with adjusted Bilstein shocks. Together with new wheels and off-road tires, the van gains a whopping 90 mm (3.5 inches) of extra ground clearance. Another major feature of the build is the sheet metal armor covering the engine, transmission, differential and fuel tank. Finally, the front bumper boasts a robust-looking bull bar.

All in all, delta4×4 ends up with a very powerful and capable Transporter build for severe off-road conditions. As for any actual camping/motorhome equipment, the cars have none to show so far, but money solves that issue easily.
