Video: This is how well the Tesla Autopilot maneuvers now

Tesla just released a video showcasing its Model 3 EV switching lanes, stopping before traffic lights, overtaking other cars, and finding its way through a major road junction without a bit of participation on behalf of the driver. Visitors to the Autonomy Day, a special event where Tesla revealed its new autopilot module called Full Self-Driving (FSD), were the first to watch the tech demo.

According to Elon Musk, FSD is the best computer chip in the entire world. In early spring this year, the company started equipping its Model S and X cars with this feature, and even added the affordable Model 3 to the list a few days ago.

The video also demonstrates the new UI features offered by the FSD system. For instance, the multimedia display can now show you a real-time rendering of the road junction you are currently driving through.
