Heritage rolls out the first James Bond-themed Aston Martin

Aston Martin Heritage has finished working on the first DB5 vehicle themed after Agent 007’s car of choice from the Goldfinger movie. A total of 25 units will be produced, and this specific example costs £2,750,000.

The Aston Martin Job 1 DB5 Goldfinger comes based on a low-carbon steel chassis designed and manufactured according to the original blueprints. It features handmade bodywork and packs a potent 4.0-liter, six-cylinder, naturally aspirated tri-carb engine rated at 294 hp (219 kW). Five-speed ZF transmission and limited-slip differential send the momentum to the rear axle.

Naturally, the grand tourer boasts a plethora of fancy “spy gadgets”, including a smokescreen generator, a bulletproof shield, flipping license plates, fake miniguns concealed in the taillights, a radar, a classical phone, and more.

The Heritage subdivision began its work on resurrecting Aston Martin classics in 2017 with the revival of the DB4 GT.
