Pogea Racing conjures the McLaren 666S into our dimension

Performance tuner Pogea Racing has come out with its latest project: a McLaren 570S turned into a beastly supercar with 666 horsepower (490 kilowatts) under the hood.

The Pogea McLaren 666S keeps its stock 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, but an ECU update and a custom MONSTERexhaust system take it from 570 PS and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque to 666 PS and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).

This enables it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in mere 2.9 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the stock coupe can do, and hit 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 7.9 seconds (1.6 s faster). The top speed also lies a bit higher than stock at 333 km/h (207 mph). For reference, the McLaren 600LT hits 100 in 2.9, 200 in 8.2 and maxes out at 328 km/h (205 mph). It also costs £40,000 more than the 570S, and Pogea Racing ships its upgrade for as little as €11,000.

The new exhaust is Euro6 and TÜV compliant. The car shown in the gallery here rides on KW Variant 3 coilovers and in-house Pogea Jules wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (255/30 R20 front, 295/30 R20 rear).
