€67,500 turns an Audi RS Q8 into a luxury-laden Manhart RQ 900

Manhart showed us its Audi RS Q8 styling ideas more than a year ago, but the first finished car has only now left the tuner’s garage.

The German company massages the stock engine to deliver 918 PS (905 hp / 675 kW) and 1,180 Nm (870 lb-ft) of torque instead of the usual 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). Achieving such extreme power and torque numbers necessitates the installation of an Eventuri carbon-fiber air intake system, a custom intercooler, improved turbos, and special catalytic converters that are not street-legal in Germany, by the way. The automatic transmission receives its fair share of upgrades, too, but acceleration times remain undisclosed.

A sole glance at the exterior of the SUV makes it abundantly clear which tuner carried out the job. The body wears a traditional gloss-black paint coat with accents of dull gold and blacked-out details all around. A carbon-fiber aero kit emphasizes the sporty vibes.

Inside, the dash panel, doors, center console and steering wheel boast dull gold décor, while the seat upholstery and mats are new.

Obtaining a Manhart RQ 900 is a matter of having at least €67,500 in addition to the donor RS Q8 and any applicable taxes.
