Russian firm turns a Toyota Mega Cruiser into an extreme ambulance off-roader

Vostok-Trailer, a car shop based in the city of Vladivostok, Russia, has created an entirely special all-terrain vehicle based on Toyota Mega Cruiser chassis.

The car, which some call the Japanese version of the Hummer, will carry out special operations on mining sites, delivering medics into emergency areas and evacuating the wounded.

Compared against the stock Mega Cruiser, the Detra-SMP boasts a rigid full metal body and plenty of auxiliary lighting all around. Its cabin has been stripped of all unnecessary stuff to make room for reanimation equipment and other medical appliances.
