MTM unleashes a 1,100-PS Audi RS 6 upon the world

German tuning shop MotorenTechnik Meyer has spent quite some time tuning various Audi cars to their limits and seemingly beyond, but their latest project is the very definition of wild and unhinged.

It’s known as the Pangaea GT and is coming to the market in a short production run of 25 units. The donor vehicle is a C8-generation Audi RS 6 Avant, an ambitious yet understated family car with 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 1,200 Nm (895 lb-ft) of torque on tap.

Once tuned, the wagon slams the wheels with 1,100 PS (1,085 hp / 809 kW) and all of 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. Tuned like this, it zaps from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in neck-breaking 2.6 seconds and can attain a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) – or so MTM claims, at least.

To keep those 22-inch centerlock wheels firmly planted, the RS 6 wears a bespoke carbon body kit reminiscent of those found on the DTM racers. It includes flared fenders, low-slung side sills and rocker panels, a low-drag front end with a custom hood, and a roof scoop for some reason. A new diffuser with tailpipes rounds off the look.

Whoever ordered the first example went for a dark matte green finish, but the remaining 24 can be painted however their owners wish. The interior gets a complete overhaul with plentiful carbon-fiber details and carbon-backed bucket seats not just at the front row but also in the back. The trim involves fine leather and Alcantara with contrast stitching.

The prices remain to be announced.
