Exeed Sterra E05 interior previewed with a trio of displays

Shortly before unveiling its Sterra E05 SUV in China – and its twin brother Exlantix E05 in Europe – Exeed has released a handful of interior shots. According to Autohome.cn, the car is coming to us with recliner seats that you can unfold into a level surface suitable for sleeping on.

Not just that, but it also features three standard displays: the digital dash to the left, the infotainment display in the middle and a passenger’s display on the right. This is the first vehicle from the Exeed Sterra/Exlantix lineup to have so many screens included in the base spec. The popular ES and ET models only have two each.

A closer look also reveals a dual-spoke steering wheel, clean-looking and illuminated door panels, a couple of cup holders and a box between the front seats, and a single wireless charger pad.

Those who would like some assistance navigating heavy city traffic will want to opt for Horizon Super Driving (HSD). The system runs on the Journey 6P chipset by Horizon Robotics and makes use of 12 sensors and cameras. A LiDAR is recommended, but optional.

Drivetrain-wise, the Exeed Sterra E05 is a hybrid. It packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 156 PS (154 hp / 115 kW) and a 32.6-kWh battery pack OEM-rated at 165 km (102 miles) of all-electric range per charge.
