The Hyundai Casper Electric seen here is a battery version of the compact petrol CUV that’s been in production in South Korea for three years now (see video).
The Electric variant of the Casper will have a range of 315 km (195 miles), the company says. All other specifications remain undisclosed. Unlike its gas-guzzling cousin, it will go on sale in Europe as well as Korea.
It will be known as the Hyundai Inster on the Old Continent, and will start from around €22,000. The official reveal will take place in Busan on June 28, 2024.
