Road Show International is no stranger to unhinged builds, but this Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk almost looks like a crime on wheels considering how blistering fast it is.
When it debuted eight years ago (see video), the large SUV came equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged to deliver 717 PS (707 hp / 527 kW) and 875 Nm (645 lb-ft) of torque. That’s more than most drivers will ever need, and enough to take the bulky vehicle from standstill to 96.6 km/h (60 mph) in 3.5 seconds.
RSI didn’t provide many details, but said its tuning package boosted the output to whopping 1,227 PS (1,210 hp / 902 kW). That’s enough to reduce the sprint time to ridiculous 2.7 seconds, putting the heavy Trackhawk into the same league as the Lamborghini Temerario, no less. And with a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph), it’s quite the racer, too.
Complementing the technical modifications are a widebody kit, a brown full-body wrap with red accents, 24-inch wheels and a 20mm (0.8”) reduction in ride height. The interior seems to be mostly standard, but red safety harnesses and the occasional carbon-fiber trim do liven things up somewhat.
The car pictured here has already been delivered to its owner, but RSI surely has more where it came from.
