The Kia K3, also known as the Cerato and the Forte in some countries, received a global facelift in 2021, but its Chinese version is only catching up now.
The China-spec K3 sports its own exterior and cabin styling. In the model year 2023, it gets a new radiator grille, headlights and front bumper. The taillights and the wheels are also redesigned. In the cabin, there are multiple touch-sensitive displays now, while hardware buttons and switches are almost all gone. The gear selector now has mode indicators, and the dashboard is now fully digital.
In its base spec, the Kia K3 ships with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine in China, rated at 115 PS (113 hp / 86 kW). As an alternative, it can be obtained with a turbo engine capable of 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW), boosted by 10 horsepower compared to its old version. The EV and PHEV versions will get their updates later, Kia says.
